This notice explains what personal data appears on Count on Water, why, and how to have it corrected or removed. Last updated 20 Oct 2026.
Count on Water is operated by [operator name and address to be confirmed]. Contact: info@countonwater.com.
The site republishes information from public procurement notices on TED: buyers, contract titles, values, deadlines and the companies that won contracts. Company names are not personal data. Where a winner is a sole trader or a partnership of named individuals, we do not show the name; it remains available on the original TED notice.
We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interest, and that of our readers, in transparency about public procurement in the water sector (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine it with contact details or other sources to build profiles of individuals.
When you subscribe to our weekly email, join a waiting list or reserve a founding place, we keep the details you give us: your email, name, company, role and your answers to the form. We use them only to send you what you asked for and to talk to you about membership. We never sell them or pass them to other companies.
We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for reservations, on the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Sign-ups are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Emails are sent through Brevo, an email service based in France, which processes your details on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Brevo records whether each email was delivered and opened and whether its links were clicked; we use this only to check that our emails arrive and are useful.
The site shows notices published in the last 12 months. Sign-up details are kept until you unsubscribe. If you reserve a place and don't become a member, we delete your details 12 months after our last contact. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer them.
You can ask us to access, correct or remove information about you, or object to its processing, by writing to info@countonwater.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
