Count on Water turns public procurement notices into a working list for companies that sell into the European water sector. This page explains where the data comes from and what it can and cannot tell you.
Tender and award notices come from Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the EU's public procurement journal, published by the Publications Office of the European Union. We select notices by 28 water and wastewater CPV codes, the EU's procurement vocabulary. TED documents may be reused commercially under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU, and every notice on this site links to its TED page.
The Poland pipeline uses the FEnIKS 1.3 call results published by NFOŚiGW, Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, for calls 001/23, 001/24, 001/25 and 002/25.
New notices are collected every Monday, looking back 14 days so that late publications are not missed. A tender republished with corrections appears once, with its latest deadline. Separate lots of one procedure appear separately.
Sector and equipment tags come from each notice's CPV codes and from keywords in its original-language title, so one notice can carry several tags. Notices that only share a code with water work, such as medical supplies, bottled water or port dredging, are left out. The rules are automatic and can be wrong; if you see a mislabelled notice, tell us.
Each notice title is translated into English in full, keeping reference numbers, place names and company names as they are. The original title is shown beneath it. Translations are made for this site and are not official; the TED notice in its original language is the reference.
Winners that are sole traders or partnerships of named individuals are shown without their name; the name remains on the TED notice. No company pays to appear or to be ranked. See the privacy notice for how personal data is handled.
